Q. What Does It do ?
A. It allow active directory users to update their own information ( Telephone number etc.)
Q. Does this require delegation of rights ?
A. No phpadadmin uses two separate accounts one to read information and a second with admin rights (i.e. in domain admins) to commit changes to the information.
Q. Which fields can I change ?
A. Any of the fields you wish. Which field can be edited is controlled in the configuration.
Q. Can i restrict what can be added to each field?
A. Currently any field can be assigned as a drop down box checkbox or radio button, the contents of which is entirely up too you. I.e. restricting the department field to only have entries for departments that actually exist. Each field can be made either readonly or editable in the configuration. You can also assign form validation to each field as you see fit.
Q. Will it allow users to reset their own passwords?
A. This is a feature which is due in the next release

A. I think so, but then i may need to get out more.
